Hogan Lovells opens applications for its July cohort of the Fintech Mentor Programme

London, 1 May 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has today opened applications for its July cohort of the Fintech Mentor Programme (FMP). To date, the program has supported over 35 FinTechs, providing each with up to £25,000 in free legal advice and regulatory consulting services. The 2024 program is open to FinTechs at any stage of development, from start-ups to more established growth players.

Eimear O’Brien, partner and co-head of FinTech at Hogan Lovells commented: “What we offer to clients is really impactful. It’s not just sitting down for a day’s workshop. It’s an ongoing relationship - for example, if we spot issues that impact the client, we’ll drop them a line. We assist with things like regulatory structuring and navigating the relationship with the regulator. We really enjoy working with such creative and driven FMP clients.”

During the program, FinTechs will receive advice and insights from Hogan Lovells lawyers and regulatory consultants, as well as have access to a network of industry professionals and bodies to leverage their experiences. Participants will also be able to use the Hogan Lovells FinTech Mentor Program Hub, including its resources on the latest topics and industry trends, other tools such as a suite of template documents, and free or subsidised access to a host of toolkits. 

Applications are open until 17 June.
